Northwood Klondyke Novelty Bowl – VASELINE OPALESCENT

Northwood produced his Klondyke (AKA:  Fluted Scrolls, Jackson) pattern, c. 1898. This novelty bowl is done in a
VASELINE
base glass with an extremely well done opalescent treatment.  As you can easily see in my last pic, the bowl glows brightly under ultraviolet (black) light.
Any bright or dark areas you might see in my pics are just sunlight glare or shadow.  The glass is consistently colored and sparkling bright throughout.
Stands 3 1/2″ high, measures 7 1/2″ wide and 3″ between the scrolled feet.
